When it's all been said and done
What's up for grabs has been lost and won
When you've done all you can and then some
You've sowed, toiled, worked, and reaped for wealth to come
When you have sailed, flown, travelled, and seen the world
It becomes clear you couldn't have without your wings unfurled.
Life on earth begins when a baby into this world is born
Soon afterwards, in the waiting arms of a parent, the baby is borne
The birth of a child often brings about rejoicing, perhaps tears of joy
This long-awaited bundle of joy could be a girl or a boy
Yet the happiness of the parents and family still knows no bounds
Heartfelt prayers have been answered, and now celebration abounds.
Were we born into this world to live towards a particular goal or aim?
Any pursuits we should seek with no doubts or shame?
The origins and beginnings of everything largely determine its raison d'être
Which properly understood positions us to live without regret
It can serve as a lighthouse, a homing signal, and a north star
Guiding our life's journey, especially when we travel afar.
Everything that has a beginning has an end
The days of our lives, we should be careful how we spend
For when this life ends, the next one is eternal
If we were saved in this life, the other will not be infernal
It will be blissful, beautiful, and glorious in a celestial haven
For God loves the world and wants us to be safe forever in heaven.
